Pyin Oo Lwin is well-known for its colonial style houses with large compound and pine trees, eucalyptus and silver-oak abound in town. In and around the town are 175 hectare Botanical Garden, Pwe Kauk and A ni-sakhan waterfalls, Gokhteik Viaduct and Peik Chin Myaung Caves (Limestone caves). It is also a virtual showcase of Myanmar’s forest resources.
